About Hercules

Hercules was left behind when my neighbor moved out. She has assured me that she will not be coming back for him and I can drop him off at the shelter where he will have a very slim chance of making it out alive. I have been trying to find a rescue for him because I am unable to keep him. He will have to be brought to the shelter if I cannot find him a safe place to go. He needs an experienced owner who has time for him and can give him the much needed exercise he desperately craves. Hercules is a 3-year-oldish Boerboel Mastiff Mix who has already been through much heartache. Yet, despite it all, his spirit remains unbroken, his heart full of love, and his eyes filled with hope. Hercules was abandoned and neglected in his past, found malnourished and scared before being rescued a couple of years ago, only to find himself in the same situation again. He needs a true hero to save him this time to save his life. He's goofy, energetic, and so incredibly affectionate-a true sweetheart who craves connection and kindness. He does very well with both dogs and cats, not sure if he has ever been around kids. He's neutered and can be brought up to date for vaccinations. He's ready to start his new life, all he needs is someone to love him and make him feel accepted-a family who will cherish him for the beautiful soul he is.
