About Pita

Meet Pita !! This pretty lady is ready for her new home. She's a sweet and easy going girl and is very well behaved. She's not very needy at all and is happy to just sit near you and relax. Pita is an approx. 10 year old mix breed. Most likely Lhasa mix or similar. She currently weights 16 pounds and is full grown. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is heartworm negative. She has been an easy companion so far. She's content to relax with you. She's fairly low energy but enjoys walks if you want to go. She's also fine just going out in the yard to potty. She's good about staying out of the way and will lay on the couch instead of following you room to room. She has playful moments and has recently started playing with toys but otherwise is very chill. Pita does great with other dogs. She is fine with or without other dogs in the home. She has never been around cats so we are not sure how she would do. We suspect she would do fine. She is not fostered with kids but met some older kids and did great. She would do well with them as long as they don't treat her like a toy. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate if you want her to. She was vocal on day one but has now accepted the crate and even goes in on her own at times to rest. She does great on car rides. She pulls a bit on the leash still but at her size it is still fairly easy to walk her. She has done excellent with her potty training so far. She will potty in the yard or on a leash. Pita has no trouble sharing treats or toys with other dogs or humans. She's fine with people around her food but has not had other dogs around her while eating to see how she does. She has not been a very vocal dog aside from alerting to strangers at the door. She would likely do well in an apartment as her energy needs are low. Overall this cutie has a great personality and loves people. If you're looking for a tiny dog that will cuddle and loves to be held then she may be the one. She has been so well behaved and loving.
