About Newton

Newton Information -4 years old (4/15/2021) -Male (Neutered) -67 lbs -25 in tall (top of front shoulder) -Pure Breed with papers (Never Registered) -Current vaccination records Newton Personality -Ball/Toy motivated -Loves to work(train), run errands, tend to the yard -He is good with children (+8yo) and adults. He hasn't been exposed to infants or toddlers so comment is unknown. -He is selective when playing other dogs. He can be a bit of a roughhouser. -House broken, doesn't damage property, is not crate trained. He was housebroken at 8 weeks and doesn't destroy furniture or clothing when left unattended. Ideal Home: -Newton would do well on a homestead or small farm. He has lived in a suburban fenced yard but has the disposition to be an outside dog. He likes to tend to the yard. Also, a family environment which will fulfill his need for affection. Training: -Home training. Basic commands but is capable of a lot more. -I trained him with basic hand and arm signal in which he learned quickly -He is leashed trained and behaves on walks provided he has his choker collar on. He can be difficult without the choker collar. He knows what he can get away with. -He would excel at Barn trials or Agility trials. Reason For Surrender: -I am single and made a career change in the last 6 months which requires a 14 hr/workday (with commute). I cannot afford to have someone tend to him during the day. The long hours are taking a toll on both of us.
