Please help me live! Mcacc Shelter has given me a deadline due to kennel stress. I have done nothing wrong so I hope you come and meet me before my deadline! LOCATED: 1920 S Lewis Dr. Mesa, AZ Fill out: https://www.thedogsavers.org/apply-to-adopt/ Call: 480-331-4188Adopt Virginia. She's a WHOLE VIBE! Hey there, it's me-Virginia. I'm 47lbs of wiggle and a certified good girl. I'm 4 years old, potty trained, stuffie obsessed, and ready to find the love of my life. Or at least someone who won't return me faster than an Amazon impulse buy. Buckle up, babes-this story has twists. %BD%BD%BD%BD Adoption Attempt #1: 10 glorious days. I was playful, gave kisses, wanted to be BFFs with their other dog. Sadly, that dog said 'absolutely not' to my friendship application, so I got the boot. %BD%BD%BD%BDAdoption Attempt #2: a whole 24 hours. Seriously. I was 'friendly,' 'lounged around the house,' 'played with toys,' 'slept in bed,' and 'was NOT destructive.' Their complaint? I pulled on the leash. ONCE. Okay, maybe more than once. But still. What is this, a fashion runway? Look, I'm not perfect-but I am pretty fabulous. Let's hit the highlights: %BD%BD%BDI roll over for belly rubs like it's my job. %BD%BD%BDI'm basically a vacuum when it comes to treats. %BD%BD%BDI obliterate stuffies like it's personal. %BD%BD%BDI greet everyone like they owe me rent and belly rubs. %BD%BD%BDI pull on leash, sure-but with a harness, I walk like a semi-respectable lady. %BD%BD%BDI went to Petsmart like a boss, jumped in the car, did some nose work, and lived for toys. %BD%BD%90%BD Oh-and I'm not some dog park diva. I need a slow intro to other pups because, newsflash: I'm stressed. This shelter life ain't it. I've been here since January 2nd (ugh, fireworks, amirite?) and I've just been trying to hold it together while my kennel turns into an American Ninja Warrior course. SLOW INTROS. Please. But underneath the zoomies and anxiety is a sweetheart who just wants a real shot. I've shown I can be awesome in a home. I've cuddled, I've played, I've kissed toddlers and adults alike. I'm not broken-I'm just waiting for someone who gets it. Who gets me.
