About Otis

Otis is a very sweet boy and deserves all the best. My fiance rescued him from a shelter hours before his scheduled euthanization. Unfortunately, Otis has a lot of trauma from the shelter and we have struggled with his training. Due to being in a small home (which was not the case at adoption), he has developed pretty significant anxiety and has started showing signs of aggression towards smaller animals, specifically my cats and the neighbor's dog, even though this has never been a problem before. He does VERY well with my dachshund and golden retriever, and had never gone after a cat prior to the relocation. He's incredibly stubborn, but smart and submissive, and would be easily trained given the adequate time and resources. As his behaviors increase, his available space bas decreased, and the cycle progresses. He doesn't deserve his current circumstances and we don't see our circumstances changing any time soon. We're considering euthanization if we can't rehome him soon. Please reach out if you're interested in this big, beautiful, SWEET boy and giving him the home and love he truly deserves. We're willing to travel to bring him if need be. We will provide his kennel, food, and toys, as well as vaccine and medical records if needed.
