Gilbert, AZ. No rehoming fee. Sadly we have to rehome our 7 year-old, 25 lb, spayed, perfect companion dog, Nikki. Adopted over a year ago from a rescue organization in Seattle we were not told she is reactive with other pets. We have two dogs (one small and one medium) and a cat. We have made it work for a year and we have made a lot of progress with her, even working with a trainer in our home. I have had many dogs over the years and I am not exaggerating when I say, aside from her reactivity with other pets (which seems to be instinctual) Nikki is the PERFECT dog. She rarely barks, doesn't jump. She is friendly with strangers but politely so. She loves to play ball - will play fetch for an hour. We believe she is good with young children but don't have any. We have never seen her be agressive or scared toward any humans / strangers. She is super smart and knows several commands, will sit and place until you tell her to break (has a record of 15 minutes.) She is energetic but also calm in a crate or left alone in the house for hours. No signs of separation anxiety and she hasn't destroyed anything in our home. She is leash trained and muzzle trained, which we put on for walks and when we socialize together when all the pets are calm. Nikki is housebroken, no accidents, and has a clean bill of health, up to date on her vaccinations. We are heartbroken to post this, but Nikki deserves a home where she can be the star of the show. Thanks for commenting or messaging if you would provide a good home for Nikki. We are in central Gilbert. We will include two crates, toys, treats, and large bag of dog food.
