About Kingsley has till 5/5!

Update: Kingsley is now on the Euthanasia List & will be killed on 5/5!! Please save him!!! Look who's available for adoption/rescue! Finally! Why the announcement? Because KINGSLEY (#A2167271) is free from having been quarantined for 6 months at the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, for an alleged Coyote attack. Indeed, the person who brought KINGSLEY to the shelter (as a 'stray'), claimed KINGSLEY had been spotted surrounded by Coyotes, so the injury on his back leg (see upper left photo) was presumed to have been a bite from a Coyote. Vets have to take such a claim seriously, so KINGSLEY was put in quarantine, as is required by law, which means no human interaction, no getting time outdoors, no nothing until cleared by the County. Now that KINGSLEY is out in the general kennels, he is learning social skills. He walks well on leash, and he is treat-motivated, sitting for a treat and taking them with a soft mouth. BUT, he wants to mount/hump every human, and recently he tried to mount a dog in playgroup that created a bit of a ruckus. Still, KINGSLEY needs out of the shelter, to know what it's like to be inside a home with someone who will be committed to working with him, training him, and loving him forevermore. He has a lot of potential, and he is eager to learn. (He would probably do best in a home with no young children or other pets.) There's more to KINGSLEY's story that I'll leave for others to report. But, everyone agrees that KINGSLEY is resilient and needs a chance to start a new chapter in his life.
