Red Shirt Freshman is ready to get off the bench and show off her moves. Living with her foster mom has really opened Red Shirt's eyes to what being a rabbit is all about - GLAMPING! Life is just one great big luxury camping experience, a refuge from the inconveniences of nature. From here on in, we're talking vaulted ceilings, clean floors, warm beds, quality hay, fresh water and fruits and veggies all the way. There will be no pooping in the woods for this lagomorph. As one knows, it's hard enough looking cute for room and board. Fortunately, Red Shirt won the genetic lottery, being a fancy-schmancy lionhead with the beautiful eyes and gorgeous hair and wonderful personality and all. Red Shirt may play the shy card in the first few days, but it's all an act because she's really a friendly and affectionate girly-girl. However, cats, dogs, and children are unknown frontiers for her. Red Shirt also possesses an intellectual curiosity that surpasses most humans. She enjoys walking around the city (aka house) and greeting her fellow buck (resident male). She is a friendly and affectionate doe. Like most rabbits (and humans), daily head scratches are never refused, and butt (ahem, lower back) scratches are mandatory. If like attracts like, Red Shirt is sure to be adopted by someone just as beautiful, gorgeous, and wonderful as her, so if you consider yourself beautiful, gorgeous, and/or wonderful, we found the rabbit for you. As the lucky adopter, you will verbally be certified as B.G.W. for their lifetime or Red Shirt's lifetime, whichever expires soonest. However, certifications can be extended through the ethical acquisition of another bun bearing the requisite qualities. Red Shirt Freshman is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year. Submit an adoption application for Red Shirt Freshman at center.houserabbit.org. House Rabbit Society is located in Richmond, California, just north of San Francisco. Questions? Email [email protected] and we'll be happy to talk more with you!
