About Nova: Nova is a sweet, emotionally intelligent pitbull looking for a loving forever home. She was rescued from a shelter in 2021 after being there for two years. Since then, she's been a loyal companion and emotional support to me, but due to my pregnancy, financial hardship & limited space, I'm unable to continue providing the environment she needs and deserves. Temperament: Very affectionate and calm with people, including children and babies. No history of aggression toward humans. Expresses concern when a child or baby cries - very emotionally in tune. Fearful of thunderstorms and fireworks; she will hide during storms. House Trained: Yes - she will alert you when she needs to go out. May have an accident during transition but learns quickly with gentle correction. Animal Compatibility: Not always predictable with other animals. May get along with smaller or calm dogs after slow introductions. Best suited as the only pet or with an experienced owner familiar with dog-to-dog introductions. Additional Info: Nova is a very sensitive dog - I believe she experienced some trauma before I adopted her. I've never had to use physical discipline with her; she responds best to a calm, gentle approach and structure. She is loyal, emotionally aware, and just wants to feel safe and loved. I am heartbroken to let her go, so I'm looking for someone truly committed to giving her the kind of life she deserves. A calm household, a loving human, and a little patience will go a long way.
