About Jack Black

Jack Black is a 2-3 year old mini aussie weighing 32lbs who is looking for his forever home. Because of his past, Jack is often hesitant and skittish at first, but with time and work with the right person he warms and becomes a velcro Aussie. Jack has excellent manners, rarely barks, and is largely content to lay about the house. Jack gets along just fine with other dogs and does very well with cats. Jack does best with women as he can be fearful and defensive when he feels cornered by men. Jack does very well on a leash, with minimal pulling when walking, and is crate and house trained. Jack loves to be brought his customary bowl of water before bed! We know Jack will continue to build his confidence in the right environment and with continued exposure to new environments. Jack has not been exposed to kids but we believe he would do best with older kids due to his anxious nature. Jack is currently going to obedience training and is doing well. He will require a secure fenced yard.
