About Macy

Macy is a breeder surrender because he couldn't get her to gain weight. Apparently, this poor girl had a broken back just above her hips. 2 different vets believe it was recent since she has had puppies, and she wouldn't have been able to do this with a broken back. We did several sessions of acupuncture and laser therapy, and that has helped tremendously, but it's looking as though some of the damage is irreparable. She is incredibly sweet, calm and quiet. She gets along with other dogs, cats, and children. She is 3 years old and an absolute gem. She is quiet in her crate and is crate trained. She is about 90% housebroken . This sweet girl is very sure she wants to be someone's furbaby. She is 54 pounds. She is spayed, updated on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm and Lyme disease tested before adoption. She may never be a hiking partner, but she can go up and down stairs now, doesn't live on pain meds, and she no longer cries when she moves or poops. She is almost 100% and dearly loves her people!
