Blaidd is a very smart dog. He taught himself to open doors with handles (not knobs) in both directions, and sliding doors and windows. He so far is good with most dogs, however he learned to see small dogs as prey when with a dog who is selectively dog aggressive and unfortunately has to be euthanized due to the unpredictability. Unknown if he will be good with small dogs on his own. He used to play with them on their level. He likes cats who are confident and don't run/trigger the prey drive. Unsure if he'd do anything if he ever caught a running cat. He is slow to warm up to men. Not safe for small children who might grab at him. He has never bit aggressively, but will nip defensively if you do something to him he doesn't like, like pulling fur while brushing. He's very good with our 18mo though. He needs a lot of space and training to work his brain. We aren't in a position to offer that to him. We only have him because my son decided to adopt him without permission, then said son moved out and left him here. I hate rehoming dogs who were already adopted twice, but he really needs more than we can give him. It's unfair to keep him.
