About ACE

I'm reaching out in hopes of finding a new, loving home for my Giant Schnauzer, Ace. I was given your information by Ms. Deborah Domenici, who spoke very highly of your compassion for animals. Ace is a sweet, loyal, and fully trained 12-year-old male who has been a part of my life since he was a puppy. He spent a month in board-and-train as a young dog and responds reliably to all standard commands. He is gentle and affectionate with people, and truly just wants to be by someone's side or playing in the yard. Unfortunately, due to my demanding work schedule as a police officer, I'm now away from home for 12 to 16 hours a day. I currently live in a small apartment and can no longer give Ace the space, time, or attention he deserves. It's been a difficult decision, but I want to do what's best for him. Ace has had several toes amputated due to a recurring infection, but he shows no signs of cancer and is otherwise healthy for his age. He is currently recovering from a partial toe amputation and will need to return for the removal of the remainder of the affected toe. Despite this, his spirit remains strong and loving, and he still enjoys short walks, time outside, and simply being around people. I am looking for someone who can give Ace a home with a yard to explore and relax in-a place where he can enjoy his golden years in peace and comfort. I live in Maryland but am more than willing to meet halfway or make other travel arrangements to ensure he finds the right home. Thank you so much for considering this.
