About TUNI

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!! She has been posted on FB all groups locally, rescues have been contacted and no one can take her -- PLEASE HELP!!!! Tuni was found by my husband and I in our neighborhood the night before Thanksgiving and the weather was about to turn bad. She was almost hit by 4 different cars and we didn't know what to do so we had to put her on a chain in our backyard to try and get her help. In the process we had someone help get her food, shots, spayed, and a doghouse to keep her out of the weather. We also had someone help get donations to have her boarded at a facility when the weather was below 0 and she would have froze to death in her dog house. We have 3 dogs and 1 is a alpha male blind husky and can't take any chances with him or her getting hurt. We also have an older husky and a bully. Along with a house cat. She is not able to be in our house since our dogs and cat have full access to the house and our dogs know how to open doors. We also have sugar gliders which take up one of the bedrooms. It is not possible to have her inside. We are super concerned about the weather that is coming and no way to bring her inside from the storms etc. Also concerned about her being in the heat that is coming in the upcoming months. We don't believe in chaining a dog but in this case we had no choice she is a high jumper, super high energy and she would have jumped and took off, got hit or worse. The area we are in is a known area where they dump dogs on a regular. We do believe she was dumped. She is so precious and deserves a home of her own with someone to love and spoil her like she deserves. She was around 9 mths when we found her so she is over a year now but still a puppy. She is in great health. VERY smart! A great Watch dog too! - We went against our lease to help her and can't risk losing our home by keeping her any longer. we have work that needs to be done by our landlord but can't risk calling them because she is chained up and that is against our lease. Plus she is not approved through our landlord or lease either. No way for us to keep her with our animals and situation. We are very desperate to find her a loving home and or a rescue that will help find that home for her. We originally had scheduled to have her go to the TAW - Tulsa Animal Welfare in hopes someone could help get her adopted. Something in our guts said NO don't do it. AND we were RIGHT to NOT take her since I just seen a POST that over 500 dogs have been killed since the 1st of the year there. BREAKS MY HEART that all those innocent animals lost their lives and didn't deserve it. Tuni would have been 1 of them too! Something we would have NEVER got over. PLEASE HELP HER FIND HER FOREVER HOME AND PERSON AND OR FAMILY!!!!! SHE IS SOOOO SWEET and just needs someone to take the time with her to train her. She is eager to learn. Treat motivated. She is soooo smart! If we could keep her we would but it is not possible we have our hands full and under the curcumstances with our own animals it is not at all possible. We cant risk ANYONE getting hurt NOT her or THEM! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP US HELP HER!!!! She needs a Miracle. I have owned PITBULLS almost all my life and they are the MOST LOYAL, LOVING DOG I have had the privilege of owning! They have a bad rep because of BAD OWNERS! Bad Owners are the problem not the animals - ANY BREED can be Vicious given how they are raised! PLEASE REACH OUT and help her! WE ARE BEGGING FOR HELP for her! HELP US HELP HER BE SAFE AND HAPPY!!!! - FEE is only there to ENSURE she gets a GOOD HOME! We will need VET References since we HAVE to be sure she is going to someone that is going to take the best care of her. There are soooo many people trying to hurt animals and we can't take those chances. Will want information regarding. Animals in home if any, yard, size, fenced or not. Kids. Video of yard so we can see where she will be spending her time playing with her NEW family! These are all things that Rescues that really care about an animal going to the right home ask.
