About Duke

Meet Duke the beefy boy! Duke is a handsome 1.5 year old male mixed breed dog. He currently weighs about 70 pounds and is fully grown. Duke found himself in a tough situation in Texas when his family surrendered him to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He hasn't let that get him down, and always has a smile on his face! He can't wait to find his true furever family who will appreciate him for what a great boy he is! He is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs of similar size, but can be a little overpowering to small breeds due to his large size. He loves people of all ages. He is smart & obedient, he sits on command! Duke is Playful & Fun - Loves toys and playtime. He is a loving companion who craves attention and affection, so if you are in need of a new best friend Duke is your guy! He is neutered, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He will be available to meet on a first come first serve basis by appointment with his foster family or at our upcoming adoption events.
