About Buster

Meet Buster the 100lb mixed breed ARRIVING IN WI on APRIL 25th! Buster is a handsome 1 year old male mixed breed. He is a sweet and friendly boy with a thick brindle and white coat. He currently weighs in at 100lbs. Buster found himself in a difficult place when his owner was diagnosed with cancer and no longer able to care for him. He was brought to his veterinarian to be euthanized, however thankfully the veterinarian reached out to a local rescue in rural Texas who then reached out to us to get him to safety in WI. He gets along well with other dogs and he loves people of all ages. He is neutered, tested heartworm negative, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee will be used to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday April 25th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday, April 25th. If upon meeting, he is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding her forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog.
