About Bear

Bear is a 2 year old 100lb, male black German Shepherd that was saved 30 min before being euthanized. He is currently being fostered in an outdoor kennel by a Police K-9 Handler and his wife. He cannot stay there very long as they have new dogs coming in for training soon and this was supposed to be a temporary situation. Bear can be quite strong and dominant and does better with men. He's a working dog so we prefer someone who has experience with the breed. He definitely formed a bond with guys quickly So the perfect situation for him would be a male adapter, who doesn't have kids. We don't know how he is with other dogs, but he has been Kennel near another Shepherd and seemed quite happy to see him. Thank you for your interest.
