Her eyes twinkle with mischievous intelligence and precision of a fetch master when a ball appears. Despite being overlooked in the shelter system, Ruby is a sweet and devoted pup, ready to become someone's best friend. While she gets along with most dogs, she maintains her independence and doesn't typically engage in play with them. Ruby will be most compatible with submissive senior dogs or equally happy as an only pet. She prefers human company most and has received glowing reports when staff or volunteers take her out for adventures! Always neutral-mannered or happy, she never gets grumpy and displays great patience when we've paired puppies with her. Ruby is simply waiting for someone to recognize and welcome her into a forever home filled with unconditional love.
