This sweet Redbone Coonhound/Irish Setter mix (your guess is as good as ours!) is 25 pounds of playful energy, gentle cuddles, and puppy charm. Whether she's romping in the yard with her dog friends or snoozing peacefully on a dog bed, Ruby brings joy to every moment of the day. Ruby is the kind of puppy who makes you smile without even trying. She's friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully well-mannered for her age. She already knows a few basic commands like 'Sit,' 'Come,' and 'Off,' and she patiently waits her turn for treats-an especially endearing trait when surrounded by other dogs. Ruby is a quick learner who's housetrained and mastered the doggy door in no time. She's also doing great with crate training, happily settling in for afternoon naps or overnight rest. Sometimes she even chooses to snuggle into an open crate with a buddy for a little extra comfort. This girl thrives on companionship. She loves chasing after sticks and balls in the yard, following her person around just to be near, and cuddling up beside you on the couch in the evening. Ruby plays beautifully with other dogs-big and small-and is respectful of older pups. She's even got a soft spot for the resident cattle dog, who enjoys giving her ear kisses, which Ruby sweetly accepts. Ruby is still a puppy, so she comes with a healthy dose of curiosity and a bit of typical puppy chewing, but she's off to a fantastic start and will blossom even more with continued training and structure. She walks nicely on a leash when paired with another dog and is a quiet, calm rider in the car. The ideal home for Ruby is one with a fenced yard where she can explore and stretch her legs.
