About CASPER

Casper the dog who was found tied up on a street in Yonkers completely emaciated is now thriving and almost back to normal weight. Yes he can definitely use a few more pounds, however, they would best be gained in a home environment. We would ideally like him to be adopted to a home with a fenced in yard however thats certainly not a requirement He has come a long way because of the dedicated care he has been given by staff and volunteers. He's a sweet somewhat shy young man who we are told by some of the volunteers is very smart and excellent on the agility equipment Also he knows some commands and is treat motivated ( no surprise there. ) he also loves a good game of fetch. If you have a current dog they would have to meet of course however from what we hear he has seemed happy to meet many other dogs. No barking or growling and he is easy to walk. One thing we must point out is that Casper LOVES to climb and is particularly good at climbing the chain link fence so if you have one he would need to be supervised while outside. Can be 4 ft or 8 ft. Height is no deterrent. Please share and let's find this very deserving dog the best home so he can begin the best part of his life in a loving family situation.
