Meet Banjo, a 2-year-old Great Dane, born on Christmas, with a heart as big as his size! He's a very friendly and loving dog, but his large frame sometimes causes him to be unaware of his surroundings, especially around children and other animals. He is extremely playful and is always wanting to run around. He's spent his life with young kids and is gentle with them, but he doesn't know his strength and can accidentally knock them over. He's also been around a cat, but his size and speed makes him a bit clumsy around smaller animals. Banjo is house and crate trained. He's extremely loving and eager for attention, but he is also quite reactive and hyper, which means he requires someone who can keep up with his energy and manage his excitement. He needs an adopter who has time, space, and patience to help him thrive. Unfortunately, we are moving into an RV, and as much as we love him, we know he deserves more space to run and play. He would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard.
