Introducing Baloo! This tri-colored baby bear came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. Sweet Baloo was quickly diagnosed with Parvo Virus, a highly contagious gastrointestinal virus that is easily preventable with routine puppy vaccinations. Luckily for Baloo, his case was on the milder side, but he did require inpatient hospitalization for supportive care from our friends at MSPCA Angell. While he was on his road to recovery, brand new PLR foster Molly, and her crew stepped right up to give this little guy a safe place to rest up and heal. Since he's been in foster, Baloo has proved that he can live up to his namesake! He's every bit as laid back but fun-loving as the big bear himself! Baloo loves a good leash walk with his four-legged siblings, but he also equally loves his puppy naps. This silly boy also thoroughly enjoys car rides with his foster family, hunkering down in the backseat to enjoy the scenery. Baloo is also a champion snorer, even when he's awake, earning him the loving nickname Little Piggy from his foster parents This happy-go-lucky boy is looking for a loving family to call his own- we feel that he would be able to mesh and thrive in most active, caring families including ones with both four and two legged siblings.
