About Forest

Forest, named for where he was found. 1 yr old, 43 lb handsome, sweet boy. Lucky many saw him living in the woods at Duke Forest & seemed very frightened. He had dragged a baby blanket to his 'nest'. The best boy, Forest is loves indoor life! He is loving being petted & knows he is safe. He gave us his first tail wags when he met kitty. He seems to know some commands, like 'come' & 'wait'. Forest snores when he sleeps, gives kisses, & nudges you for more pets when you take a break. He is a shadow at your heels, is polite on leash. Forest pulled on leash for the first time when he saw kids on a playground , pranced toward them, whimpering with excitement! He's a bit jumpy still with loud noises & sudden movements, but we think he was in a home w/ kids. His personality continues to come through as he gets to know his foster family.
