About Lucky Pilot

Lucky Pilot is an extremely friendly, happy, affectionate, and playful, two-year-old, 55-pound, male tan and white Pit Bull Terrier with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian. Found as an emaciated stray, Lucky Pilot has found a new lease on life with his foster dad who has provided him with the safe haven he's needed. Lucky loves people but will growl at select men before he gets to know them. He came into rescue with a gash and dent on the top of his head, no doubt at the hand of a man. He gets along with most other dogs but he's extremely energetic. He loves car rides and does beautifully on leashed walks but he's a strong dude. Lucky is housebroken when walked regularly and takes treats very gently from your fingers. He is still a young dog and a chewer so pillows and dog beds are tempting for him. He was just neutered, so he is still very much a humper. That should calm down soon. While he'd love to sleep in bed with you, his foster dad has him sleep in a dog bed next to his bed. He is very healthy, fecal-tested and dewormed, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccines, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He comes complete with absolutely everything you need to care for him.
