About Clover

Clover is a beautiful young German Shepherd mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love. She's the kind of dog who's happiest outside-whether it's chasing water at the lake, exploring trails, or just playing with her pack in the yard. She's an outdoorsy girl through and through, and if you've got space to roam or adventures to go on, she'll be right there at your side with her big goofy grin. Clover thrives in the company of other dogs-all dogs. She's been raised in a house full of huskies and has done amazing in daycare environments. From little spitfires like Chihuahuas and Schnauzers to massive gentle giants like Mastiffs, she can click with just about anyone. She does especially well with confident dogs who are playful and can either match her energy or set boundaries-she's incredibly adaptable and respectful when she knows where the lines are. If you have a small dog with a big personality, even better-Clover would love a buddy like that. She's also a total love bug. She's motivated by praise and reassurance, and her loyalty runs deep. She bonds hard and fast and gives her whole heart to her people. She's great with kids and would make a beautiful addition to an active family home-as long as there are no cats. And that's where her one limitation lies: Clover cannot live in a home with felines. Despite dedicated work on her prey drive, her instincts are strong, and she has unfortunately made her feline housemates feel unsafe. As hard as this is, I have to prioritize their safety and her wellbeing. She deserves a home where she isn't tempted by instinct and can truly thrive without the stress of correction or redirection. This choice to rehome her hasn't come easily. She's been so loved, and it breaks my heart-but it's a decision made out of deep care and responsibility. Clover is ready for her next chapter-a cat-free home where she can keep being the joyful, social, loyal girl she is. She's fully vetted, healthy, and comes with a foundation of love and structure that's helped her become the incredible dog she is.
