From being dumped on the street, to death row in a kill shelter, to our doorstep, we are so grateful that this little guy made his way to us. After all that, the poor boy had to be treated for heartworm disease as well. Chip and his brother did not have a good start in life, but it is getting better every day. He is finished with his heartworm treatment and is ready to resume a normal life, one that he deserves. His ideal home will be on the quieter side, childless, and would include one or more lively toy breed dogs. Chip doesn't mind cats either. His best friends are Jack Russel mixes. He is a little more social than his brother. He did much better in daycare. While we don't believe he needs to be adopted with his brother to thrive, special consideration would be given to the adopter that wants both Chip and Dale together. Toy Rat Terrier, born 1/29/23, 8 pounds, neutered, up to date on immunizations, crate trained, affectionate and playful.
