About Dottie

Dottie is approx 11-12 years old and weighs 4.6 lbs. We believe she's a Maltese mix. She came to us severely neglected, both physically & emotionally and after 6 weeks in her foster home is just beginning to seek out a little attention. That being said, we are looking for the perfect retirement home for her & a family that is very nurturing. She's very sweet, loves taking long naps & is always very excited when it's time to eat. She prefers things calm & quiet. She can co-exist with other dogs who are calm & gentle and she would also do fine with cats. Dottie is a fairly healthy senior; heart & bloodwork are good. She takes a daily pain med for arthritis & a supplement to support her liver function. She's spayed, microchipped & UTD on vaccines. On 4/23 she will be having a dental with extractions of any rotten teeth. She will be able to leave once she's recovered. Requirements to adopt Dottie: * Calm, quiet home * No kids under the age of 15.
