He is one of the many who need out of the shelter ASAP for their sanity Handsome, smart CAIN is ~4.5 years old and 60 pounds, a sweet and shy dog who's still finding his confidence. When he first arrived in playgroups, Cain was a bit unsure and stiff, but with patience and time, he started to open up with his female canine companion. Although vocal at times to express his joy of play, he was always appropriate. He enjoys the occasional playtime and can be a fun companion once he feels comfortable. Cain may need some extra TLC to help him gain trust and build confidence, but with a loving and understanding family, he'll continue to blossom into a wonderful friend. If you're ready to help Cain grow, he could be the perfect fit for you. Cain has earned the privilege of going on Daycations! A volunteer chose him to be her work-from-home buddy for the day. Here is what she had to say: 'No surprise at all he was the goodest boy. The excitement he had when he was able to jump in the car to enjoy a ride was heartwarming. He is ready to travel with you! During the day we hung out in the office and he was calm during my meeting calls. He even hopped on a video call as a special guest! With him being potty trained made it very easy. He also went into the fenced in backyard and that is where I found out he listens very well and knows him name. He was a complete gentleman with today's visit.' Cain also LOVED visiting a local brewery and going to dive off the dock to chase squeaky balls!! He's a good boy and needs out of the shelter Please, please consider saving this boy and giving him the life he so deserves! All of the long timers are at risk and need the community to step up!
