Levi was spotted in the dumping grounds hiding in the orchard. He would watch from a distance but wouldn't come close. Food and water was left for him but his safety was a big concern with coyotes and also residence in the area that shoot stray dogs. We knew we had to get him safe. We returned with a trap but he vanished and we could not locate him. After two weeks of not seeing him we thought the worse. Finally, went out again early in the morning and spotted him. We were able to set up trap and he went in after just a few minutes. He was so terribly matted and full of stickers. He had feces on his bum in his matted fur and smelled horrific. He was immediately taken and cleaned up. He immediately transformed into a grateful, happy fur baby that felt so much better after having all those stickers removed. His sores from the stickers were treated and he was on his way to recovery. Levi is the cutest little baby that walks well on a leash and does great with other dogs and is not reactive to cats that we have seen. He is a little shy but easily warms up and comes for pets with a wagging tail. He is treat motivated and smart little boy making learning easy for him. He listens well and rides great in the car. He is also terribly cute and will make the very best new friend for your family.
