About Mickey

He's all terrier, loves hard, and is always looking for adventure (tho he is limited physically, just not mentally!) Last year, he was hit by a car, and the owners relinquished him to animal control in hopes he would find a rescue that would provide him with the necessary medical care he needed to recover. Naked Kisses to the rescue! After a massive surgery by a specialized surgeon, his pelvic area was pieced back together. His foster mom took the best care of him during this time and has done amazing work with him to help rehabilitate. Mickey relishes attention like any Yorkie. He loves sharing a favorite chair or sofa and snuggles. He is great with people, but he isn't kid tested. Because of the injury, Mickey hobbles along happily, but he'll need a home with no energetic dogs or young children who could bump him by accident. Short walks and an easy, cozy life is what this pup needs for his future. He loves toys and to play tug. True to his terrier roots, Mickey is vocal and likes to announce various things he hears and sees, so no attached style living for him. Mickey gets along well with other small dogs, playing with them, sharing his bed and their companionship. No kitties for Mr. Mickey, because in Big Bro Style, he thinks they are quite fun to annoy. Mickey is fostered in Myakka City, FL. He's fully vetted and ready to go. No airplane trips for this guy, he must go home by way of car.
