About Rodeo

1.5 y/o, 37lb cattle dog mix, neutered and UTD on vaccinations. Rodeo loves his people, is the best cuddler, and is a total crack up. He loves being outside, sunbathing, swimming and sniffing. Rodeo has picked up on basic training quickly and loves to learn. He's housebroken, thrives on routine, and gets along with all dogs. We've learned through recent experience that Rodeo has a concerning reaction to young children and cannot live in a home with them or be in situations where he could feel cornered by them, even in public. We've consulted behaviorists and are committed to helping Rodeo progress, but there are no guarantees. Children will always be a part of our life and we cannot safely or ethically justify the risk, no matter how much we love him. Rodeo deserves a calm, predictable home with an owner who understands his breed's needs. He would do well in a consistently kid-free environment with room to explore outside. We love Rodeo deeply and are willing to travel as far as we need for his perfect home. He will come with plenty of his favorite things and his adoption fee is certainly negotiable to the right fit.
