Harley has had a rough life on the streets. He was turned into the shelter for chasing ducks, so no fowl play for this guy!! He is very good with people and other dogs, but has no manners yet. We will be working with him, getting him to the vet to have his eye checked, neutered and hw tested, plus shots. More pix and info on him soon. A diamond in the rough!! Fostered in Jackson, Tennessee. ****PUPDATE You haven't met a happier dog than Harley. Coming from being a really skinny stray and obviously recovering from several injuries including an eye injury that has taken the right eye; he just wants to be friends. He wriggles his way up to meet people and dogs, ever hopeful for affection and friendship. He has a moderately high energy level, not excessive, but he will need a safe place to run and play. He can miss other dogs' 'back off' cues, and that might have lead to his mostly minor injuries. His family will have to help him to learn those social manners. He gets along with other dogs, cats, crate trained, and housebroken. He does show quite an interest in chickens, and was picked up for harassing ducks with another dog. While he probably will learn great recall, he should not be trusted around fowl or livestock alone until very well trained. Harley shows a lack of hyper-focus and a willingness to be redirected when around my chickens.
