About LUCY

Lucy was left behind in Bakersfield and subsequently brought to the Kern County Shelter. Unfortunately, she was put on the euthanasia list, but Bakersfield Strays intervened just in time to save her life. Lucy's demeanor is timid and wary around people. She doesn't get along with children but is friendly with other dogs. Lucy requires a nurturing and understanding environment due to the uncertainty surrounding her past. However, we believe that with patience, time and care, she will develop into a devoted and affectionate companion.
