1 Year Old Chocolate Lab : Rosie in Salem, Oregon Sweet girl needing her forever home. Rosie came to us at 10 weeks old and has grown up around kids, adults males, & females. No other animals so I am not sure how she would be. She is not fixed & in lieu of a rehoming fee I am just asking she goes to the right home and that money can be put towards that. We are rehoming her due to her nipping towards my 3 and 6 year old's and what seems to be some possible aggression towards other animals? We have hand fed her, tried to socialize her, etc since the day we got her as she was meant to be our forever family dog. But, since day one, she has just been very reactive. I have paid for training, paid for ESA training courses, all to no avail. I truly believe she would thrive in a home with more time to dedicate towards her as she loves all attention on her. Again the issue is my kids are so young so when she nips ( even if its not super hard) it's at face / throat level and I refuse to let an accident that I could have prevented happen. Rosie is a lovely girl and I know with the right people she will be happy. This was from my daughter. We currently have her in our home for the time being to help her out, but she cannot be her long-term, or we could lose our rental. If we cannot get her placed or put into a rescue shelter, she'll have to go to an animal control facility.
