About Alex

Meet Alex (and his sister Lexi) Alex is a 4-year-old gentle soul who arrived at the shelter alongside his sister, Lexi. They were surrendered by a family member, and while we don't know exactly why their owner could no longer care for them, it's clear that these two cats are deeply bonded and currently feeling quite lost. Both Alex and Lexi are spayed/neutered, severely overweight, and very scared in the shelter environment. Right now, they're spending most of their time hiding, so we haven't been able to get clear photos just yet-but we're giving them all the time and patience they need. These sweet siblings would thrive in a quiet, understanding home where they can destress at their own pace and begin a safe, gentle weight-loss journey. They need someone who sees past the fear and extra fluff, and recognizes the loving companions they're meant to be.
