Lucinda is a gorgeous, amber-eyed, fun, playful and sweet, two-year-old, 10-pound, long-haired orange tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Lucinda and her five kittens came to Friends of Petraits Rescue from Chicago Animal Care and Control. All the kittens have found loving homes, but Lucinda is still waiting. While she's wonderful with her beloved people, she may hide when visitors come over. Lucinda is absolutely wonderful with other gentle-natured felines and canines. And, I think another cat in the home will make her happy. While she's not a lap cat, she does rub lovingly against your legs and is extremely talkative. She also loves to be brushed which is so important with a long-haired cat. I've never heard her hiss, growl or bite. She's just a delight. Lucinda uses her litter box and horizontal scratching post like a good kitty. She is trained with a top entry box, which is my favorite. She is extremely healthy, de-wormed, spayed, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative, and microchipped. To meet and possibly adopt Lucinda, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet her. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is currently being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
