About Ellie

Ellie DOB 3/3/2022, 6 pounds Ellie is a purebred Yorkshire terrier from an in-home breeder. She is adorable and loving, but has high emotional and physical needs. She does fine with cats and kids, but she would thrive in a home where she is the sole focus, or has another smaller dog who would play with her. Best qualities: - Adorable - Crate trained - Potty pad trained - Leash trained - Knows commands: sit and stay Health records: - Spayed - Up to date on vaccines High needs: - Suffers from anxiety, takes Trazadone daily - Itchy skin/reoccurring skin infections; vet gives her cytopoint injections every couple of months for relief - Baths needed at least once a week - Ellie tucks her back left leg up when she runs. The vet suspects Legg-Calv��-Perthes disease (LCPD), but as she is in no pain, no treatment is needed at this time Notes: - Ellie has been brought up in a home with cats and kids, but she doesn't like when others get attention - It is theorized that in a different environment where Ellie is the sole recipient of attention, her anxiety and skin conditions may improve
