CALLING ALL BEAGLE LOVERS! BAROOOOO! BAROOOOOO! Meet Murphy, a new arrival who is ready for adoption! Murphy is a little guy who weighs about 25 pounds and is guessed to be about 7 years old. Murphy found himself in a shelter with more dogs than adopters and came to us for help finding a new home! Murphy is a happy, friendly guy who loves napping and couches and napping on couches! He aslo adores people and is great with other dogs! Murphy has all the traits that make beagles so great! What do you say about adding him to your family today? Augusta Dog Adoptions is a volunteer-powered, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
