About Cheeseburger

Hey there! I'm Cheeseburger! I'm a 5-year-old, 50-pound guy with a heart full of love to give. I've had a rough past, but I'm bouncing back and looking so much better now! I came from a place where I wasn't taken care of, and I was really skinny when I was rescued, but I'm a strong, healthy boy now. My rescue mom says I'm sweet, easygoing, and a great companion. I get along with other dogs, though I tend to do best with females. I do have a bit of a thing with resource guarding, especially when it comes to food and bones. Overall I'm a gentle soul who just needs a little time and patience to be the best dog I can be! My rescue mom thinks I'd be great with kids - I'm a calm, loving guy who just wants to be part of a family that will give me all the love I've been missing. I was lucky enough to be rescued from a high-kill shelter during a really tough time, and it's truly a miracle I'm here today.
