Mochi is a wonderful four-month-old, 45-pound, male chocolate and vanilla lab/boxer/mastiff-mix looking for a loving guardian. This boy has a lovely and sweet disposition. He's a snuggler and a leaner. He loves people of all ages (best with older kids because he still jumps up). He's great with dogs and cats and rides nicely in the car. He walks beautifully on leash and is not reactive. Mochi is well-behaved in the home but is obviously still in training since he's a puppy. Mochi was rescued in St. Augustine, Florida, and driven back to Chicago. He was living with a family with three small children and they were overwhelmed with the dog they took in. He is crate-trained and knows the command sit. He is very food-motivated and takes treats gently. Mochi is very healthy, dewormed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines. He will be neutered and micro-chipped on Tuesday, April 15th. He is heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. If you are interested in meeting and possibly fostering/adopting Mochi, please fill in an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet him. He is currently being fostered in Oak Park, Illinois.
