About Ivy

Bayport, LI, New York Pups like this just don't come along every day'|. Ivy is an exceptionally loving and sweet-tempered girl who is completely and wholeheartedly devoted to her people. Easy-going and submissive, Ivy is always, always happy. Easy to please, Ivy especially, and enthusiastically, loves her leash walking adventures. She enjoys being outdoors in the yard and entertains herself easily... so much to smell, watch and run after!! Happily spends hours out with me while gardening, coming by often for love and belly rubs. Ivy is not a digger. Not a fence jumper. Not a barker. Ivy is very well mannered and laid back indoors. Respectful of our home boundaries. I've seen no bad habits and she has been easily corrected with a gentle 'no' if needed. She leaves the dinner table at our request, and we can eat in peace with no begging!! She takes nothing that is not hers. Does not chew furniture. Only enjoys our couch when invited to join us. Ivy is agreeable to sleeping in her crate overnight and spending time there during the day when I go out. She is good in the car. She is friendly and submissive with guests and neighbors, greeting all with her exuberant tail wagging. And of course, Ivy is perfectly potty trained. Ivy is simply a terrific companion with a heart full of love and joy. She lives to love and be loved, and her favorite activity in the whole wide world is to be cuddled, nuzzled and pet. She makes me smile all day. Just the best mushy, snuggly, huggable buddy. 4 year old blue heeler. 40-ish pounds (working on slimming Ivy down).
