Absolutely perfect 4-ish year old sweetheart looking for her forever family Bayport, LI, New York Ivy is an exceptionally loving and sweet-tempered girl who is completely and wholeheartedly devoted to her people. Easy-going and submissive, Ivy is always, always happy. She is just so easy to please, and she loves everybody. Welcoming and friendly to all guests without being overbearing. Ivy especially loves being outdoors and entertains herself easily. Neighbors to greet, kids to watch, birds to track and squirrels to stalk. All fun stuff. Ivy is not a digger. Not a fence jumper. Not a barker. Ivy is a terrific walking partner, as short or long as I like. Walk or jog, she is just overjoyed to be out and about. Ivy enjoys the beach and I (thankfully) never feel rushed to leave. Ivy is very well mannered and laid back indoors. She follows me with her beautiful wagging tail while doing house chores. Passes time people watching out the front door (no barking). Content just watching me read. Ivy is respectful of our home boundaries. She has no bad habits. She allows us to eat in peace with no begging at the dinner table!! She takes nothing that is not hers. Does not chew furniture. Only enjoys our couch when invited to join us. She simply knows what is proper behavior!! Ivy is agreeable to spending time in her crate, and often chooses it as her relax spot. And of course, Ivy is perfectly potty trained. Ivy is simply a delightful companion with a heart full of love and joy. She lives to love and be loved, and her favorite activity in the whole wide world is to be cuddled, nuzzled and pet.
