This sweet boy is ready to start his new adventure, and with your help, he'll become the perfect addition to your family! BOWIE was surrendered as part of an unwanted litter to a kill shelter in Georgia. At just 3 months old, he's a black, tan, and white Retriever mix, full of love and curiosity. Bowie is a friendly, playful puppy who loves spending time with people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids. With some training, he'll grow into a well-mannered companion that you'll cherish! Bowie is currently stuck at a high kill shelter with his 3 siblings waiting for a chance at a life in a loving forever home. Breed: Retriever mix? Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. '3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
