About Nell

How can anyone resist Nells beautiful smiling face? Nell is a true gem, a diamond in the rough! Nell was found with a litter of pups asking for help. The vet aged her at about 2 years old and she definitely is a wirehaired pointer believed to be mixed with Lab. Nell is full grown at 43.4 Lbs. Her favorite way to spend her day is outside chasing squirrels, and she is fast! We believe she would make a great hunting dog with proper training. If you're not a hunter, then Nell would be happy being a true companion to anyone that adopts her, possibly as a hiking, walking or jogging partner. Either way, Nell is as sweet as they get and has a great demeanor. This mix of dog is nothing short of intelligent! They will learn very quickly and be extremely receptive to training. These dogs are extremely attached to their owners and love to please them. In terms of training, you should have a little to no trouble, especially if you are an experienced dog owner. The mix has very strong hunting roots, but that is not the extent of their capabilities! You could also train one of these dogs to perform other job-related tasks. This combo creates a well-mannered pup that will impress you with its brainy ways. Nell is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated and micro-chipped. $235 rescue adoption fee applies.
