About Binx

Meet Binx Anyone who has seen the movie Hocus Pocus will know instantly how Binx got his name. Binx is an adorable little kitten just 6 months old. He's a fuzzy little boy with medium length hair (kind of a black/brown) that just grows every which way. He has the cutest face and big ears that he still needs to grow into, and the biggest purr you ever heard! Binx was rescued by a local good Samaritan who took him in, took care of his medical treatment, socialized him, then asked if we could find a permanent home for him. He is so confident, it just took him a couple days to fit right in our community kitten room. Binx is full of fun, love, and personality and did we mention how cute he is? Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. If you don't receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or please call our shelter at 706-865-4135. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
