About Maisee

Pitbull/German Shepherd mix Female 2 years old Relationship with other dogs: Maisee is good with slow proper introductions and would do best as an only dog. Relationship with cats: no Relationship with people: Maisee has situational struggles towards loud noises and unexpected people. She would do best in a home with children 13 and up who know how to respect dogs space. She needs slow introduction and trust built with men. She is very eager to Please and be loved. Crate trained Dog door trained Leash trained with proper handling Muzzle trained Tricks: Knows how to sit, shake, lay, stay, down, on, off, wait, touch, and recall words such as 'office- bedroom- bed'. We're currently working on an emergency recall word 'Accio' Likes: Maisee loves toys, balls and a good game of tug of war. Cheek Bones, and bully sticks are some of her favorites. Maisee does love social time with dogs that are safe for her, and training with her foster mom. She enjoys having a safe space to retreat to, such as her crate. Dislikes: public events and dog parks aren't her jam. Maisee is a nervous dog that takes time to warm up to men and feel safe in her environment. She does not like loud noises or sudden movements that appear threatening. Must Haves: space to get her energy out, toys to chew and a patient family who understands the importance of knowing dog body language Fun Facts: She is very smart and very sweet. She travels well in cars. She can be social when she feels safe. She guards her people and needs slow introductions to new people.
