About PICKLES

[Case opened on 4/1/25]. DAYTON, OHIO (will drive up to 1 hr) . 1.5 Y/O FEMALE GSD. Her name is 'PICKLES '. Background: Rescued from an elderly person when Pickles was 3 months old. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs (READ BELOW). Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained. No known medical issues. VERY HIGH ENERGY. HIGH PREY DRIVE. Currently on NUTRISH food. Weighs 60 lbs. OK with car rides, but will sometimes get sick. Loves: shoes - firewood - getting petted- outside Play Time - belly rubs - attention-lovings-running. Personality: Skittish meeting new people, but ok once she warms up. Pickles is a great girl. She is still a GSD puppy and will need lots of play time and exercise. She is okay to PLAY with other dogs but the Current Shepherd Parent does request that she go to a NO other dog home due to Pickles' anxiety. She is very nervous when dogs around her bark. The Current Shepherd Parent feels this is best for Pickles so that she can relax and thrive in her new home and not always be nervous or anxious. As stated above, she is still in the puppy phase and will jump up on people. She has a Great Recall. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Pickles because she does have other dogs in the home and Pickles is just too anxious and it's just not the best situation for Pickles to thrive.
