Name: Sitka Age: Turns 14 in June 2025 Breed: Husky/Boxer Mix, 55 pounds Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Lancaster County, PA Owner is moving into assisted living and can't take Sitka with her. Vet Info: Sitka is microchipped, neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and HW-. He is sighted in his right eye and left eye is impaired due to glaucoma that developed about 6 months ago. He is on drops. His hearing is not as sharp as it used to be. Dog Info: Sitka has been with his owner since he was a puppy. Now she is going into assisted living and is unable to bring Sitka with her and must rehome him. He is housebroken, leash trained, knows commands 'Here', 'Sit and 'Down'. Sitka is outgoing and is good with both men and women, male and female dogs. He hasn't had much exposure to teens, children or cats so owner is not sure how he would be with them. Sitka has run of the house - with the exception of the bedrooms and the yard. Owner does not have any other pets. Sitka is not possessive of toys, treats or food and has never shown any aggression at all. Sitka sleeps well at night, naps often during the day and loves to take short walks.
