About ZEUS

[Case opened on 4/9/25]. LIMA, OHIO (will drive up to 2 hrs). 4 Y/O MALE GSD (DOB:EST.1/1/21). His name is 'ZEUS '. Background: has been with the same Shepherd Parent since 6 months old. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs. Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained, but does NOT need, good behavior when left alone. No known medical issues. HIGH ENERGY. Currently on '4 HEALTH PERFORMANCE' food. Weighs 90 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: playing fetch - going for walks - cuddling - playtime - playing with kids - swimming - chasing squirrels - chilling on the couch - sleeping in bed with his person- attention - outside time. Personality: A good boy. Loving. Needy. Zeus is a great boy. He is usually good with meeting new people but he does not like Delivery Drivers. He has OK Recall and good on a leash, but will sometimes pull until he calms down. He is very intelligent and knows Basic Commands. He can also open most doors. He is vocal when someone is at the door. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Zeus because the other family dog recently passed away and Zeus is grieving and starving for attention that the family just cannot give him. The Current Shepherd Parent's schedule is too busy and cannot give Zeus what he needs. Zeus will thrive best with property to roam, whether it be a big fenced yard or Country Property, preferably with someone who is home a lot to give him the love, time and attention that he so desperately needs. He is a great boy and will be an amazing companion for the right person. He deserves a loving home with someone who has the time, love and attention that he needs and deserves.
