About Katarina - Sweet girl

Hi there! My name is Katarina. I was surrendered to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue by my family who could no longer take care of me. Unfortunately, they found out I had heartworm disease and I have spent a year here recovering. Now I'm healthy, heartworm-free, and ready to find my forever family! As you can probably tell, I'm a bit chonky. I had to stay quiet during my treatment so I wasn't able to get the amount of exercise I really needed. But that's okay... it just means there's more of me to love! The rescue thinks I'm a min-pin/chi mix or something similar. I'm about 5 years young and weigh around 12 pounds (but could lose a few to be at my healthiest). I get along with the dogs and people here at the kennel. My $200 adoption fee covers all the care I received in the past year including all my vetting, heartworm treatment, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay.
