About Tiny Tim

Tiny Tim came was picked up as a stray in the Sacramento-area. He arrived to the shelter matted with several foxtails that needed to be removed from his ears. Since then, we've given him a haircut and his hair is growing back in the most adorable way! We don't know much about Tim's past, but with the help of a trainer we have learned a lot about his preferences during his time with us. Tim is a 'slow burn,' and prefers to get to know people and other dogs at his own pace before getting pets or cuddles (which can be hard to resist since he's so adorable!). Tim is looking for a dog savvy owner/s who can provide him with the patience he needs to feel safe and trusting. Once he trusts you, he is a complete love. Tim is a goofy boy who loves to play and we have been doing scent detection work with him to keep his brain busy, which he has been loving! Tim is tolerant with other dogs, but prefers a quiet and predictable home where he can be the only pet.
